Christopher Hitchens z’l
Christopher Hitchens was one of a kind. I knew him only peripherally through a couple of visits he made to Holy Blossom, but I liked him immensely. I liked his combination of modesty and audacity, his quick and agile mind– and maybe most of all, his kindnesses extended when no one was watching.
If you haven’t read his memoir, Hitch 22, do so. And while your at it, pick up his last book, a collection of essays entitled, Arguably. And also in appreciation and memory, here are three posts on Hitch I put up previously.
