Michael Cole will give his annual book review. Michael will review Half-Blood Blues by Esi Edugyan – 2011 Giller Prize Winner.
Winner of the 2011 Giller prize, this novel is about a group of young jazz musicians of mixed backgrounds and race living in Berlin and Paris on the eve of the Second World War. It’s also about the attempt, many years later, to locate one member of the group, who was arrested by the Gestapo in Nazi occupied Paris.
