A Private Shehechiyanu: ten minutes of private reflection before the Open Ark in preparation for the High Holy Days
Come on your own or come with your personal bubble. Many are longing to return to our beautiful and historic sanctuary, even if only for a moment of quiet contemplation. Here’s your opportunity for a healthy and safe visit to our sanctuary, empty of people, but still filled with memories and inspiration.
A Private Shehechiyanu is an initiative that invites congregants to sign up for a 10-minute private visit to the Main Sanctuary throughout the month of Ellul (beginning Monday, August 24 through Thursday, September 17). You must sign up in advance; available time slots run on the half-hour from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm, and last no more than 10 minutes.
Please note:
- Registration is being taken on a first-come, first-served basis
- There are some blackout periods, due to other activity happening in the building during this time.
- In order to accommodate as many congregants as possible, and to sort through any potential double-bookings, you will receive an email confirming the day and time of your 10-minute Private Shehechiyanu, along with specific instructions.
